The STERIS Certified Pre-Owned ADVANTAGE PLUS Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER) provide high-level disinfection cycles and asynchronous programmable systems. The ADVANTAGE PLUS AER aids in standardizing endoscope reprocessing, offering cycles to clean and disinfect flexible endoscopes. Its ergonomic design is intended to aid high-functioning teams and demanding facilities to reduce cross-contamination and human error.

Medivators AERs from STERIS CPO are refurbished products that undergo precise STERIS certification process. STERIS CPO technicians thoroughly inspect and refurbish each unit to meet STERIS specifications to be like-new aesthetically and operationally.

Diagnostics/Inspections

Through this step STERIS CPO technicians ensure quality and adherence to OEM standards, committed to preserving equipment reliability. Our program conducts a series of thorough inspections.

  • Inspect the unit for leaks
  • Verify Leak Tester option functionality
  • Verify the operation of the GFI outlet
  • Verify adjustment of drain times
  • Extensive cycle validation to ensure functionality
  • Check the unit for proper labeling and clean area. Wipe down the unit.
  • Open all valves and allow water to escape all valves and no pooling water

Conditional Replacement/Refurbishment

STERIS CPO refurbishes each Medivators AER to meet the OEM performance and quality standards. Our AER Certification Process restores equipment as an all-encompassing service.

  • Rebuild all valves
  • Replace valve seals
  • Replace filters
  • Replace disinfection pump
  • Replace the scanner and monitor
  • Replace damaged, discolored, or stained plastic exterior components
  • Rebuild the SSG unit
  • Replace tubing and hoses
  • Replace dosing pumps
  • Replace o-rings on pumps, dosing reservoirs, and drain manifold
  • Replace springs and rubber balls on dosing reservoirs
  • Replace the squeeze tube for the alcohol and detergent delivery pump
