How the CLEANASCOPE™ Transport and Short-term Storage Systems Work
Green (clean) and red (contaminated) color-coded liners immediately identify reprocessed or contaminated equipment.
- Step 1: After processing, line the reusable endoscope transport tray with the sterile base liner and place the clean endoscope and the folded sterile red liner into the tray
- Step 2: Cover the transport tray with the sterile green liner marked “CLEAN,” identifying this as a patient-ready endoscope
- Step 3: Place the contaminated endoscope inside the tray after the procedure and point-of-use processing are complete. Cover the tray using the sterile red liner to clearly identify a "CONTAMINATED" endoscope. Use the endoscope transport cart to return the device for reprocessing.
