Celerity™ Incubator

The universal Celerity Incubator is a compact, eight-well, tabletop Incubator used exclusively to incubate and read Celerity STEAM and Celerity HP (Hydrogen Peroxide) Biological Indicators (BIs).
How the Celerity Incubator Works
The unit consists of two independent heating blocks, each containing four numbered wells with status LEDs. The Incubator heats the activated BIs to temperatures which promote the metabolism and subsequent detection of viable test organisms under evaluation. While the activated BI is incubating, viability is determined by an increase in a fluorescent signal from the enzymatic breakdown of a fluorogenic substrate present in the media. The Incubator indicates the results by both audible and visual status within each BI’s validated readout time, to help keep your department moving efficiently.
