Product Overview
The Celerity 20 STEAM Biological Indicator (BI) is a fast-read 20-minute BI used for routine monitoring, qualification testing, load monitoring and product testing of commonly used steam sterilization cycles.
How the Celerity 20 STEAM Biological Indicator Works
After a steam sterilization cycle, the cap's color-changing process indicator will provide immediate proof of exposure in the autoclave. The glass-free BI is activated using a twist and flick motion, reducing the potential of contamination from "over-activated" vials and eliminating the need for a second activator. The biological indicator is then incubated using the universal Celerity Incubator or Celerity STEAM Incubator for just 20 minutes.
