Ultrasonic Washers - Large Ultrasonic Cleaners
Advancements in surgical instrument design have dramatically improved patient outcomes. Intricately designed surgical instruments and devices have made manual cleaning more labor-intensive and challenging for the decontamination department staff. STERIS Ultrasonic Cleaners help increase efficiency in the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) through powerful cleaning capabilities, high capacity, and staff-focused designs. Reprocess a variety of surgical instruments, including laparoscopic, ophthalmic, and orthopedic sets, in STERIS's ultrasonic cleaners.
Free Standing Large Ultrasonic cleaners
Freestanding ultrasonic cleaners help to process complex surgical instruments and maintain compliance with device instructions for use. Using a high capacity ultrasonic cleaner aids your departments overall throughput, supporting the busiest operating rooms. Using a combination of powerful cavitation and controlled irrigation, our larger ultrasonic washers effectively dislodge and flush debris from serrations, small crevices, and lumens.
Ultrasonic Indicators
AAMI ST 79, Section 7.6.4.5 Verification of the cleaning process states: “Mechanical cleaning equipment performance should be tested each day it is used, and all results should be recorded.” Ultrasonic performance can be measured by four parameters: cavitation, chemistry, time, and temperature. Problems such as insufficient sonic energy, water level, improper temperature, and degassing may have an impact on cycle outcomes. The VERIFY Ultrasonic Indicators provide independent, objective tests to evaluate your equipment.
