VERIFY™ DualAction Ultrasonic Indicator
- First of its kind indicator that combines a cavitation test with an easy-to-interpret soil removal test
- Monitors all four performance parameters: time, temperature, chemistry and cavitation
- Safe to handle with a glass-free design, free of blood products
Product Overview
Monitoring the performance of ultrasonic cleaners/irrigators is critical to verify equipment is functioning properly. While two separate tests for cavitation and soil removal monitoring are an option, it requires technicians to remember both parts of the complete test and often involves a color change interpretation of glass vials that may be difficult to distinguish as a “pass” or “fail”.
The VERIFY DualAction Ultrasonic Indicator is the first of its kind sonic indicator that streamlines monitoring into a single safe-to-handle product, while testing all four critical parameters, including cavitation and soil removal.
- Stainless Steel Holder – Incorporates a mesh design that mimics difficult-to-reach areas on instruments like box lock joints. Corrosion inhibitors protect the device during repeated use.
- Dedicated Cavitation Test – Foil strip replicates cavitation qualification testing for ultrasonic cleaners during installation
- Dedicated Soil Removal Test – Integrated chemical indicator which tests time, temperature and chemistry by demonstrating effective soil removal
How the VERIFY DualAction Ultrasonic Indicator Works
The VERIFY DualAction Ultrasonic Indicator includes both a chemical indicator and an ultrasonic indicator. The chemical indicator is manufactured from a plastic substrate that is printed on one side with a rectangular pattern of synthetic test soil, formulated to mimic typical soils found during medical procedures. The ultrasonic indicator is a pouch containing a strip of aluminum in a buffer solution designed to test for the presence of ultrasonic activity (or cavitation).
Complete soil removal and a clean break of the aluminum strip provide a qualitative assessment of the ultrasonic cleaning system performance, including ultrasonic activity (cavitation).
