This Head Rest Extension is specifically designed for the CMAX X-Ray Image-Guided Surgical Table and enables versatile patient positioning for the anesthesia care team. Mattress pad not included.

How the Head Rest Extension Works

The head rest is installed only to the traditional head end of the tabletop (adjacent to metal siderails). With the ability to easily tilt the patient’s head, this headrest creates convenient positioning for easier intubation and facilitates support of the patient’s head, eliminating the need for additional positioning devices.

Why the Head Rest Extension?

Adjusting the patient’s head position is vital for anesthesia providers, while the additional 12” of tabletop length increases the available imaging area for the image-guided surgical procedure. This can be beneficial for taller patients to image their anatomy.
