Product Overview
The VERIFY SixCess Steam Indicator Strips are Type 6 Emulating Indicators as defined by American National Standards Institute/Association of the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation/International Standards Organization (ANSI/AAMI/ISO) 11140-1. Each emulating indicator has been specifically designed for the exposure time required for a specific cycle, for example, 270°F (132°C) four minute prevacuum cycle, 270°F (132°C) fifteen minute gravity cycle, etc.
How VERIFY SixCess Steam Integrator Strips Work
The distinctive total color change helps to avoid misinterpretation of results, compared to other indicators that exhibit a gradual change. The VERIFY SixCess Indicators provide cycle-specific monitoring allowing high-quality sterility assurance monitoring in every sterilized pack. The results are accurate to 1°C and 6% of the stated exposure time.
