Product Overview
Number: BF542 / BF00261 / BF00262
When applied to general surgical tables perpendicularly, the Bariatric Foot Extension supports patient's feet. It is utilized when STERIS Bariatric Width Extenders are attached to the table's siderails. Footboards assist in preventing nerve damage and unintended patient movement in reverse Trendelenburg. When applied to general surgical tables horizontally, the bariatric foot extender adds an additional 8" of tabletop length to support patient's feet, especially for taller patients.
Weight Capacity:
Maximum patient weight capacity is equivalent to the table's capacity.
Most models include a 2-1/4" TLT pressure management pad, but some can be purchased without one. The bariatric foot extension includes a pair of Siderail Locks (BF133).
Table Compatibility:
BF542: Bariatric model compatible with AMSCO 3000-series, STERIS 4000- and 5000-series surgical tables, and STERIS CMAX (NA only, gen. 1) surgical tables.
BF00261 (without pad) / BF00262 (with pad): Bariatric model compatible with STERIS 7000-series surgical tables
Standard width models are compatible with all STERIS general surgical tables without table width extenders installed.
