Continuous Cleaning From Point-Of-Use To Decontamination

Pre-treating instruments immediately following a procedure is critical to support more efficient instrument reprocessing. Industry standards require pre-treatment of instruments to help prevent soils from drying and help extend the life of an instrument.

PRE-KLENZ Point Of Use Processing Gel for surgical instruments combines a surfactant-based gel with corrosion inhibitors, so cleaning of instruments can be initiated at point-of-use. PRE-KLENZ is available with a Bag-On-Valve Continuous Spray (1505J9/1505J5/1505J1) or a manual trigger spray (150377) dispenser.

How PRE-KLENZ Point Of Use Processing Gel Works

After procedures, devices may sit in a queue; during this time, soil can dry onto instruments, making cleaning difficult. Spray PRE-KLENZ evenly over the surgical tray to ensure devices are evenly covered. The neutral pH clear gel also acts as an instrument transport gel, removing the need for a liquid presoak solution that can splash or spill during transport.
