Product Overview
The STERIS X-Ray Cassette Holder (TAB733) is a spring-loaded accessory designed to securely support large-format X-ray cassettes and flash pads from mobile X-ray systems beneath the tabletop of surgical tables. The device attaches to US side rails and uses upward spring pressure from below the tabletop to hold the cassette firmly in place during imaging.
This accessory is an ideal product when X-ray tops (also known as risers or bucky boards) are not installed, or when mobile X-ray cassettes exceed the size capacity of existing table channels. By providing stable, hands-free positioning of the cassette, the X-Ray Cassette Holder helps eliminate the need for clinicians to manually hold cassettes, lift patients to place imaging plates, or rely on stools or other operating room (OR) furniture for support.
