Dri N' Shine Concentrated Drying Agent
Dri N' Shine Concentrated Drying Agent is a concentrated liquid drying agent used in the final rinse of washer/disinfectors, including cart washers, to help speed up the drying time and help combat scaling.
This cart washer chemistry is a pale green color with a mild odor. Dri N' Shine has a 9.3 typical pH (concentrate) and 1.028 typical specific gravity.
How Dri N' Shine Concentrated Drying Agent Works
Drying aids, like Dri N' Shine, utilize a surfactant-based cleaning chemistry formula to lower the surface tension of water. This formula allows the water to flatten out and form large sheets that can easily flow off the surface, carrying impurities away and speeding the drying process. Dri N' Shine drying agent can be used in the final rinse of cart washers, washer/disinfectors, and other mechanical washing equipment.
Approximately 1 oz per 100 gal of water is suitable for most applications. Up to 2 oz per 100 gal may be needed for surfaces such as plastics. Reference instructions for use (IFU) and safety data sheet (SDS) documents for specific application details.
