STERIS automated washing chemistries provide superior cleaning in healthcare washer/disinfectors, cart washers, and ultrasonic cleaners. Following manual cleaning at the sink, automated cleaning helps remove surgical soils and other microorganisms from the instrument before the reprocessing cycle.
Prolystica™ High-Performance Chemistries offer exceptional performance on heavily soiled devices, including orthopedic surgical instruments, with a 10X ultra concentrate formula available that delivers more uses per container. Based on the type of instruments and method of automated cleaning, select an automated cleaning chemistry below to learn more about how it works, its specific applications, and its benefits to the surgical instrument cleaning process.
STERIS’s automated washing products are used in hospital washer/disinfectors and cart washers. Prolystica High Performance (HP) automated cleaning chemistries are specifically formulated to optimize washer pump and spray-arm performance while thoroughly cleaning difficult-to-remove organic and inorganic soils from instruments. Dri N' Shine, a specialty drying agent for case carts, ensures fast and spotless drying. At the same time, our descaling chemicals help remove heavy scale and keep your washer performing at optimal levels.
Ultrasonic cleaning chemistries help remove soils from laparoscopic, ophthalmic, orthopedic, and other instruments reprocessed in ultrasonic washers. Prolystica HP and Prolystica 2X Concentrate surgical instrument cleaning chemistries feature a low-foaming profile to remove soils from instruments during cleaning while maintaining the performance of the equipment. Available in enzymatic, neutral, and alkaline formulas, these ultrasonic instrument cleaners can meet various cleaning conditions, including helping to address hard water issues.
