Instrument Identification, Tracking, and Labeling

STERIS offers various surgical instrument identification and tracking products such as tags, identification tape, and barcode tracking. These products are designed for surgical instruments, trays, and carts and help you organize and identify instruments as they move between sterile processing and various departments. Additional accessories are also available, including binders, cable ties, markers, and adhesive remover. Customization is available for select products.

Case Locking Tags

  • Measure 7/8” in operational length (the smallest size slot this tag will fit is 1/16” x 3/16”)

Write-On™ Tags

  • Versatile tags designed to help identify and record specific instructions about trays, instruments, and more
  • Pre-printed with various identifiers (i.e., ‘MISSING,’ ‘PRIORITY,’ etc.) as well as blank tags are available
  • Durable and tear-proof 3” x 5” tags
  • Each package contains 100 tags, a lab marker, and cable ties for affixing tags to items

Smart™ Tags

  • Feature tear-off barcodes for tracking purposes and are designed to be used on instruments and trays
