How the Reusable Monopolar Active Cord Works

The reusable electrosurgical generator cord is designed to deliver current from the electrosurgical generator unit to electrosurgical devices via a monopolar cord during endoscopic procedures. One end of the electrosurgical cord attaches to the monopolar accessory and the other end of the monopolar cable attaches to the monopolar electrosurgery generator port.

Why the Reusable Monopolar Active Cord?

• The monopolar cord is 10 ft. in length and fits most 3mm tip accessories
• Fits most electrosurgical generators that accept an 8mm Bovie Style Pin
• Provides audible/tactile feedback when the cord is connected to the gi4000 electrosurgery unit and to STERIS electrosurgical devices
