Product Overview
The Guardus Overtube – Gastric is a 50cm gastric length overtube that is specifically designed to protect patients’ esophagus and airway from the risk of aspiration during overtube foreign body removal or procedures requiring multiple endoscope intubations, such as a gastrointestinal (GI) bleed.
How the Guardus Overtube – Gastric works
The disposable gastric overtube is used in conjunction with a flexible endoscope for foreign body or tissue retrieval, and/or endoscopic procedures requiring multiple endoscope intubations. This gastric overtube system features an exclusive tapered tip design to protect against mucosal damage, while its unique insufflation cap helps maintain insufflation throughout the procedure and guard against leakage of body fluids.
