Electro Lube™ NXT is a second-generation surgical anti-stick solution specifically designed for precision electrosurgery. Its familiar yet enhanced performance will minimize the challenges of eschar while also reducing cutting force and tissue sticking.

How Electro Lube NXT Works

Electrosurgery is commonly used across most surgical disciplines. However, it can have negative impacts while in use and create challenges during the reprocessing of electrosurgical instruments. As heated instruments contact tissue, resistance in cutting force can develop, resulting in tissue buildup known as eschar. Eschar negatively affects the performance of the surgical instrument by impeding current flow and can be difficult to remove.

Electro Lube NXT is an anti-stick solution designed to be applied to electrosurgical instrument tips to reduce occurrences of electrode adhesion to tissue at the surgical site and to reduce the amount of eschar that forms with each burn. This allows surgeons to perform more cuts before the electrode needs to be handed back for cleaning and aids in eschar removal.
