Specialty Medical Systems Legal Entity & Tax ID Number Change

We are pleased to announce that Specialty Medical Systems (SMS) is now part of STERIS. On June 1, 2023, all SMS repair services sold and invoiced will be under the STERIS Instrument Management Services, Inc. Corporation tax ID number (63-1271193).

How to submit a repair request with STERIS (starting June 1, 2023)

1. Contact an SMS Repair Lab

Please contact the SMS Repair Lab to coordinate your repair shipment to a STERIS repair facility. This option will be temporary and is to ensure Customer continuity.

2. Contact an Account Manager

Contact your local Account Manager to coordinate the shipment of your repair to a STERIS repair facility OR to register for an account on our Customer Portal, MyAccount, that will allow you to generate service request paperwork and a shipping label.
