Product Overview
Disposable Donut Positioning Pads are constructed of a high-density polyfoam and are primarily used for cranial support in supine and lithotomy position. Foam donuts are designed to offload pressure from the occipital bone on the back of the cranium thereby preventing pressure injury. Other less common use cases for the donut include elbow, knee or cranial support in the lateral position. Available in three sizes:
- Large (BF514) – Sold in cases of 24
- Small (BF515) – Sold in cases of 36
- Super (BF516) – Sold in cases of 36
Why Disposable Donut Positioning Pads?
Single-use patient positioners help reduce room turnover time by eliminating the need for OR staff to clean the accessory after the case. Disposing of these foam positioners and other single-use products help prevent the spread of bacteria and infectious microorganisms that may reside on the accessory after the cleaning process.
