RAPICIDE™ OPA/28 High-Level Disinfectant is a reusable ortho-phthalaldehyde disinfectant for use on heat-sensitive, semi-critical medical devices.
How RAPICIDE™ OPA/28 High-Level Disinfectant Works
This high-level disinfectant can be used for manual or automated endoscope reprocessing of heat-sensitive, semi-critical medical devices. This product effectively inactivates pathogenic organisms such as Tuberculosis (TB), Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Vancomycin Resistant Enterococci (VRE), and Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) with a 5-minute contact time at 77°F (25°C), or 10-minute contact time at room temperature (min, 68°F (20°C)).*

RAPICIDE™ OPA/28 Test Strips
RAPICIDE™ OPA/28 Test Strips are used to confirm the minimum recommended concentration (MRC) of ortho-phthalaldehyde (OPA) has been met prior to reuse, with a 3-second dip time and 90-second read time.
