- Use the white cycle bar code tags in your workflow to allow washer and cycle selection. Simply scan the barcode, and the system will do the rest.
- ATLAS WAV will also automate delivery from your washer/disinfector to the prep and pack area, allowing team members to focus on prepping sets for sterilization.
How the ATLAS Workflow Automation Vehicle Works
The ATLAS WAV is an advanced, dynamic system that automates loading and unloading, washer selection, and load prioritization. The system links multiple compatible single-chamber washers into a group that reduces staff movement by expanding the automation path – picking up or delivering accessories. The ATLAS WAV enables hands-free handling of accessories used in reprocessing surgical instruments and other items found in healthcare central sterilization services departments.
ATLAS WAV has built-in safety features that prevent it from running into objects, or even a person, throughout the SPD. Audible alarms notify technicians of ATLAS WAV throughout the SPD and when it is loading and unloading racks.
