The HD FREE5™ Camera System allows surgeons to view and record the surgical site from virtually any orientation or angle. The camera system provides the traditional pan, tilt and zoom capability, plus the unique 4th and 5th axes of pivot and rotation which allow superior positioning capability. With the Free5 camera’s separate arm mount, the camera can be easily moved independently from the rest of the ceiling system. OR staff can enjoy an optimized, crystal-clear and unobstructed view of the surgical site throughout each procedure, while allowing surgeons to capture the perfect video angle for training and teaching purposes. During a procedure, the video from this camera can be routed to a monitor, enabling the OR staff to better see the surgical field and follow the progress of the case and anticipate the surgeon’s needs. This is a new point of view that will exceed everyone’s expectations.
Positioning doesn’t need to be complicated. The Free5 camera can be manually positioned and manipulated using the camera module. You can quickly get the camera to the position and angle you desire, and then use the powered controls to fine tune its position, or zoom and rotate. You can also grab the camera with your hand and position the camera around the surgical site.
