Training Options
STERIS offers three levels of technical training programs that teach proper care, use and preventive maintenance for a wide variety of STERIS products. Classes can be customized to meet your facility needs and personnel's experience level and are offered either onsite at your facility or in our technical training center in Erie, Pennsylvania. The goal of these programs is simple: to help you protect your investment and maximize the uptime of your equipment.
ProSupport Technician Training
ProSupport training provides the highest level of product training and comprehensive support. Your technicians will receive in-depth classroom training as well as hands-on practice, and will receive a certificate of completion at the end of their training. Each class includes both written and performance assessments that are heavily weighted to the performance of the trainee. We want to ensure we see practical success in your technicians so they return to your facility prepared with knowledge and confidence.

- In-house staffs looking for comprehensive support
Classes Offered:
STERIS Training Center Customer Training Programs
The second option for technician training is the traditional type of instructor-led program that has been available from STERIS Corporation for more than 20 years. These classes, held in our technical training center in Erie, PA, feature both an instructor-led segment and a hands-on training lab. This training is conducted in a workshop format and although it is not as in-depth as the ProSupport technician training, we do give technicians a certificate of attendance.

Custom Training Programs
The third training option is the customized training courses that we provide for the majority of our current and legacy product lines. These programs are designed around the needs of the individual facility and trainees, and are a perfect solution if the ProSupport Training or Erie Training Center programs don't match a facility's needs. Depending on specific requirements, custom programs are typically one day in duration for each major product and are split between classroom time and hands-on practice.
