Calibration
Our calibration service is designed to meet our customers
specific calibration requirements while providing
superior
accountability, reliability, and expertise. The service
begins when we meet with our customer to review the
appropriate protocols and applications within the
facilities.
Upon agreement, we locate and identify the systems
to be calibrated, establish a schedule, and create
a document
repository for the calibrations. The calibrations themselves
can be completed using our standard protocols and
documentation
or a methodology you designate.
The service also provides an annual report on calibration
activity and results. This report consolidates the
calibration
data in one easy-to-access document that references
the original documentation held on site within the
calibration repository.

Chamber
Cleaning
This innovative sterilizer cleaning method utilizes
a combination of mechanical and chemical actions to
remove green, black, and brown residues from the inside
of chamber walls. This periodic process provides an
aesthetically pleasing finish without the messy, potentially
destructive action from other cleaning methods such
as bead blasting or polishing and grinding.
This method allows the sterilizer to remain in place,
eliminating the need to remove the unit. It is minimally
invasive, and cleaning can be performed either during
normal working hours or during off-peak hours.
This patented process utilizes a revolutionary combination
of alkaline and acid detergent cleaners, along with
a specialized articulating spray nozzle. Residuals
are collected in a filter cartridge, and detergent
cleaners
are effectively neutralized for safe disposal.

Chamber
Studies
STERIS Heat Distribution Studies are used to verify
the proper operation and temperature reproducibility
of steam autoclaves. During the studies, we identify
and document temperature deviations upon the stabilization
of empty test chambers. The empty chamber studies are
conducted using a means of three consecutive cycles,
in accordance with established and documented protocols.
Our Heat Distribution Studies are performed by a certified
STERIS engineer, with the final results documented and
delivered in a Heat Distribution Study report.

Qualification/Operational Qualification
STERIS’s IQ/OQ service documents the proper installation
and site operations for new or relocated equipment.
Through this service, we verify all operating cycles
and alarms, documenting any adjustments needed to ensure
your equipment performs to factory specifications. Our
IQ/OQ service is equipment model-specific and includes
the appropriate documentation assuring all pertinent
parameters are met.
Our IQ/OQ service is performed by a certified STERIS
engineer, with the final results documented and delivered
in a bound IQ/OQ report.
