The automated, remotely operated VaproSure Sterilizer, utilizes Vaprox® Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant, a US EPA registered sterilant (Reg.# 58779-4) and produces a low-temperature, dry vapor that destroys the full spectrum of biological contaminates (spores, bacteria, viruses, and fungi) on all dry, pre-cleaned, porous and non-porous exposed surfaces. A sterile outcome can be validated with the use of biological indicators. The environmentally friendly, dry sterilization process is compatible with a variety of materials, decomposing into water vapor and oxygen, leaving no residue.
Moving beyond a mop and bucket
The VaproSure Sterilizer creates and disburses a dry sterilant vapor throughout a room to sterilize all exposed porous and non-porous surfaces. This process contrasts the current practice of manual application of cleaners and liquid disinfectants that are typically only applied in easy to reach areas and in many cases are ineffective at eliminating virulent pathogens.
*The VaproSure Sterilizer and Vaprox® Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilant are not for use as a terminal sterilant for medical device sterilization or reprocessing and should not be used to reprocess devices to make them patient ready.
