STERIS FlexD™

STERIS FlexD low logistics point-of-use-adjustable formulation is a two-part dry powder that provides targeted decontamination of either nerve agents (if one part is used) or blister agents (if both parts are used). While no biological claims are made, FlexD has been demonstrated in laboratory testing to have excellent biological efficacy.* Because it is stored and shipped dry, then mixed with water at the point of use, STERIS FlexD meets the need for a very low logistics decontaminant.

Mixed with water at the point of use, 4 lbs of FlexD will produce 5 gallons of liquid decontaminant. This configuration can be shipped by ground, water or air and represents a 90% reduction in shipping weight and volume compared with pre-blended
liquid decontaminants.

STERIS 1D™

STERIS 1D low logistics formulation is a one-part dry powder that provides broad spectrum decontamination of chemical agents. While no biological claims are made, 1D has been demonstrated in laboratory testing to have excellent biological efficacy.* Like STERIS FlexD, 1D is stored and shipped dry, then mixed with water at the point of use. As a single part powder, STERIS 1D provides the simplest mixing protocol while being generally effective against chemical
agent threats.
